What to do:

The best times for doing a money spell would be on Sundays or on the 1st of the month. There are a few other good days to do it but these are the easiest for a beginner to remember (we have all been there). You can revisit the main blog post for more ideas of timing.

  • Begin by assembling your ingredients and creating an ambiance conducive to your magical practice, incorporating music, incense, candles, and other items you feel will fit what you are trying to accomplish.

  • Before commencing your ritual, cleanse both your workspace and the tools you will be using to insure the best results.

  • Start by adding the Rice to your money bowl. This base ingredient serves as the primary component poured into the bottom of the bowl. As you incorporate the rice base, concentrate on attracting wealth through chanting, prayer, or visualization, whichever you feel most comfortable with.

  • Continue to focus on your intention as you add the money-attracting elements to the bowl, such as loose-leaf herbs, dollar bills/ coins, stones, and keys.

  • Position your candles within the base of the money bowl and light them. Invoke a spoken or silent affirmation like, "By the light of the candle before me, may my financial abundance flow unto me. As I speak it so mote it be." Customize this incantation to align with your personal preferences (You can do this with any spell you wish to use it is all about tailoring it to your needs.) Caution: Some base ingredients may not be suitable for direct exposure to flames and could catch fire. Always remember to cast responsibly.

  • If using spell candles, allow them to burn completely. For taller candles, adjust the burning duration as desired, relighting them to infuse your money bowl with renewed energy the next time you go to feed the spell. (We will go over how to feed a spell at a later date.)
